There are picnic tables and fire rings with grates (not grills) located throughout the Campground. Please do not move any of the tables or fire rings. Only charcoal or wood should be burned in the fire grill and campfires are not to exceed one foot high.
Pets are permitted on the property, but not in any of the tents, cabins, or buildings – including pavilions, restrooms, or pool area. Tent campers and cabin guests should not bring pets. Pets must always be supervised and kept on a leash not to exceed 6 feet. They cannot pose a disturbance or danger to other campers and owners are expected to clean up after their pets. View Policies
If you are visiting Hersheypark and would like to make use of their daily kennel, The Barking Lot, there is a fee associated. The hours for the Barking Lot coincide with the hours for Hersheypark. If utilizing the shuttle service from the campground to Hersheypark, a carrier case is required. Learn more about the Barking Lot
No, outside firewood is not allowed to be brought into Hersheypark Camping Resort®. Firewood Transportation Prohibited: The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture has issued a notice prohibiting the movement of all species of firewood into the State, effective immediately. This quarantine has been issued because of the threat posed by various wood-feeding insects, including Emerald Ash Borer (EAB), Asian Longhorned Beetle, Sirex Wood Wasp, and bark beetles that are considered threats to Pennsylvania's forest, horticultural and recreational resources. PLEASE help us and the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture by not transporting firewood into Pennsylvania. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Stakes may be used in campsite areas except for those in Carousel Circle - this pertains to dog tie spikes, tent spikes, or canopy spikes.
You must be 18 years old to rent a tent, RV or Cabin.

Day guests visiting Hersheypark Camping Resort will be charged a $10 fee for each day guest. Day guests are authorized to visit from 8 AM - 11 PM. A wristband will be provided at the desk once provided a reservation affiliation. Day guest passes are only available if a friend or family member has a reservation on that day for the Hersheypark Camping Resort. The reservation holder must be present at the time of the notice. Taxes may be applicable.
*Please note that all sites and cabins have been winterized, therefore, water is likely not available through April 1. However, we do offer 2-bedroom deluxe cabins with water year-round. A water fill station is available in the main parking lot should you need to fill the water tanks on your camper, or campground staff is available to fill your water tanks daily from 9 AM - 11 AM. Lost and Found
Cancellations within 24 hours of booking are without penalty, cancellations after 24 hours of booking, up to 10 days prior to the arrival date result in a $15 processing fee, and all cancellations within 10 days of the reservation's arrival date will result in forfeiting the first night's deposit.
There is a two tent maximum, eight person maximum. A $10 fee for each additional person. More than two tents require more than one site.

There are multiple types of sites: tenting sites, partial hook-up, full hook-up, and pull-through sites. We permit one family and one camping unit per site. An additional tent for minor dependents (under age 18) will be permitted with prior approval from the Office. Note that tents and tent stakes are prohibited in the Carousel Circle full hook-up area. Day guests visiting Hersheypark Camping Resort are only permitted to have vehicles on property from 8 AM - 11 PM. Day guests will have access to all activities on the property and include use of the swimming pools. Day guest passes are only available if a friend or family member has a reservations on that day for the Hersheypark Camping Resort.
Check-in for campsites and cabins is after 3 PM. Check-out is at 1 PM for campsites and at 11 AM for cabins.
